French Onion Soup
Decadent and delicious, simple French Onion Soup, with plenty of melted cheese!
Grated Cheddar and Mozzarella
Thick Sliced Bread
OXO Vegetable Stock
- Chop your Garlic finely and slice your Onions lengthways
- Fry them off on a low-medium heat until softened
- Add your Flava It Smoky BBQ and keep on a low heat until your onions have turned brown and caramelised
- Add Thyme and Flour to the pan and stir for two minutes
- Then, pour in a cup of wine and add the Vegetable Stock, and let simmer for 30 minutes.
- For your cheesy bread, toast your bread and butter
- Top your toasted bread with the Grated Cheddar and Mozzarella (lots of it) and sprinkle some Thyme on top
- Pop your cheesy bread under the grill at 180°C (360°F) for 5 mins!
